Impact
Bradley and Morayo chose SafeHouse Outreach because of their personal connection to the organization and the impact they have witnessed through years of service. Through participating in the Great Day of Service each year, they have built meaningful experiences serving individuals in need and have seen firsthand the compassion and care that defines this ministry.
SafeHouse Outreach works to restore lives experiencing extreme poverty by providing essential resources, relational support, and pathways toward independent living. Through faith, love, and compassionate service, the organization meets both immediate needs and long-term transformation.
For Bradley and Morayo, this work is deeply meaningful. Each year, their time serving has left a lasting impression, strengthening their desire to support the mission and the people SafeHouse Outreach serves.
How the Grant Would Help
This $8,000 grant would be used to transform an existing dorm room into a functional, organized space for clothing, personal care items, and essential donations.
Currently, many items are stored in boxes and bags, making it difficult to quickly locate what is needed. This limits the organization’s ability to efficiently serve individuals who rely on these resources each day.
Creating a clean, organized space would allow SafeHouse Outreach to better meet the needs of those they serve, preserve more donated items, and offer individuals a greater sense of dignity when receiving essential resources.
Student Involvement
Bradley and Morayo have volunteered with SafeHouse Outreach each year through the Great Day of Service. Through these experiences, they have developed a heart for serving others and have witnessed firsthand the impact of compassion, consistency, and faith in action.
