Impact

Charlotte chose Promise686 because of her deeply personal connection to its mission. Through her own family, she has seen firsthand how adoption can transform the lives of vulnerable children — not just by meeting immediate needs, but by restoring stability, belonging, and hope.

Promise686 works to mobilize church communities to care for vulnerable children, helping place them into safe, loving, and permanent families. By supporting adoptive and foster families with resources, community, and financial assistance, the organization helps remove barriers that often prevent children from finding a home.

For Charlotte, this impact is not abstract — it is personal. She has watched members of her own family grow, heal, and thrive through adoption. These experiences have shaped her desire to help more children experience the same life-changing opportunity.

How the Grant Would Help

This $15,000 grant would fully fund three adoption grants through Promise686, helping provide three vulnerable children with the opportunity to be placed into permanent, loving families.

One of the greatest barriers to adoption is financial. By helping offset these costs, Promise686 enables more families to open their homes and step into the adoption process with confidence and support.

Through this funding, three children will not only find homes — they will gain families, stability, and a future filled with opportunity, care, and belonging.

Student Involvement

Charlotte has been connected to Promise686 her entire life through her family’s deep involvement in adoption and foster care. This connection has given her a unique perspective on the needs of vulnerable children and the impact of placing them in loving homes.

She has helped raise awareness by sharing her family’s story and encouraging others to get involved, while also participating in hands-on service such as preparing items and supporting outreach efforts connected to the organization.

In addition, Charlotte is working alongside her family to help build a church partnership that will support adoptive and foster families — reflecting her growing commitment to being part of long-term solutions for vulnerable children.
